Dear Jets Parents,

The Illinois Jets 2011-2012 Indoor Season has come to an end.  On our results page you will find the final results of the AAU 2012 Northern Indoor Nationals.  The Jets Athletes did well in all their respective events.  The medal count for the Jets Team overall was 15!  One gold in the Youth Girls 800, on silver in the Sub-Youth Girls 400, Bronze in the Youth Boys 400, Intermediate Girls 400, 200, and Sub Youth Girls 3000!  We placed in the top eight in all 15 events.  Our Team score placed us 2nd in the Youth Girls 800m run out of 25 teams from around the country!  Every athlete set their personal best record at the event.  We just could not ask for better.  :-)  We also want to acknowledge that each of our athletes were at their best, both on and off the track, we are very proud of each athlete's performance.

Special Thanks to you, our parents, for your support and cooperation through out  the national event, as well as the season. We could not do what we do without your support.

Just one last thing, we have a final team fund raising event scheduled at Pizza Ranch in Rockton on February 29th.  Please let us know if you can make the tip night event.  The kids will help serve the customers, wash dishes, bust tables, sweep up, and they will also get to have pizza for their hard work.   We will need as many athletes as we can get to help with tip night.  The event starts at 5:00 p.m., but if  you can make it by 4:30 so that we can get things set up, that would be greatly appreciated. 

Again thank you so much for all you do.  We hope to see you on the 29th, but if not we hope to see you this summer.
